1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing Kartzilla Go Kart for your Street Go Kart tourism experience in Japan. This is our Terms and Conditions, and we kindly request you to read them carefully.

2. Participation Requirements

2.1 Age and Licensing: Participants must be 18 years and above and should hold a valid driver's license to drive in Japan.

2.2 Documentation: Guests must bring their valid driver's license or required documentation for driving in Japan. For detailed information on license requirements, please refer to our License Requirement Guide. Guests arriving without the necessary documentation will not be permitted to participate, and refunds will not be issued.

2.3 Health: Participants must be in good physical condition without any medical conditions that could compromise their health, safety, or the safety of other road users.

2.4 Safety Guidelines: All participants will receive a safety briefing before the tour, outlining guidelines for safe driving. Participants must follow the guide's directions, the designated route, road signs, and speed limits. Cooperation and adherence to Japanese traffic laws are mandatory.

2.5 Driving in Japan: It is illegal to drive in Japan under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Tours will be canceled for participants found in violation, and no refunds will be issued.

2.6 Protective Gear: Helmets are not mandatory but highly recommended for your safety. We provide helmets upon request. Participants who choose not to wear helmets assume full responsibility for their decision.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Reservations: All bookings are subject to availability. Reservations can be made through our website or by contacting our customer service team directly or through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) that process bookings on our behalf. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation due to circumstances beyond our control and request your cooperation in such events.

3.2 Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

3.3 Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance may be eligible for rescheduling or refunds. Bookings cannot be transferred to another person. Please refer to our detailed cancellation policy for additional information.

3.4 Late Arrivals: Participants arriving late for their scheduled tours may not be permitted to join. Rescheduling for late arrivals is at the discretion of Kartzilla Go Kart and subject to availability. Refunds will not be provided for late arrivals.

4. Liability

4.1 Assumption of Risk: Street Go Karting is safe and approved by Japanese Road Traffic Law. However, participants acknowledge the inherent risks involved and assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages incurred during the experience. Participants are required to sign a liability waiver before the tour.

4.2 Indemnification: Kartzilla Go Kart, apart from limited accident insurance where applicable, shall not be liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participants' negligence or failure to adhere to traffic and road safety guidelines.

4.3 Public Streets and Traffic Laws: This activity takes place on public streets. Participants are subject to regular traffic laws and may face penalties for any traffic offenses committed during the tour.

4.4 Insurance: Participants are covered under limited accident insurance in the event of an accident that is not their fault. Participants are advised to contract additional insurance with Kartzilla Go Kart to cover accidents caused by their own negligence.

4.5 Participants are required to sign a safety waiver before the start of the tour, acknowledging that they understand and accept the risks associated with Street Go Karting.

5. Privacy Policy

5.1 Information Collection: We collect personal information during the booking process to identify participants and contact them if necessary. This information is also used for quality control and customer experience purposes. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

5.2 Photos and Videos: Photos and videos are taken during tours and provided free of charge if participants purchase a data card before the tour. Participants cannot use their own data cards in our equipment. Photos and videos are retained for a maximum of 5 years, in compliance with Japanese data protection laws. Participants can opt out of having their photos or videos used for promotional purposes by notifying us in writing in writing before the tour. Once published, previously used images may not be removed from marketing materials.

5.3 Booking Information Retention: Booking records and related personal information will be retained for the duration permissible under Japanese law. Participants can contact us to inquire about or request deletion of their data after this period.

6. Data Security

The integrity, security, and confidentiality of your information are extremely important to us. We have implemented strict administrative and physical security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, use, or modification.

7. Disclosure of Personal Information

7.1 General: Except as described in these Terms and Conditions or otherwise disclosed at the time of collection, we will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle personal data.

13. Tour Disruption or Cancellation

In the event of disruptions caused by weather, unforeseen circumstances, or force majeure events, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours. Refunds or rescheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

14. Attire

Participants are required to wear clothes and shoes that are not loose for their safety and the safety of other road users. Costumes are available from our wardrobe for participants who wish to dress as their favorite character.

15. Refund Clarification

Refund requests must be submitted via email to support@kartzillagokart.com. Refund processing may take up to 14 business days, depending on the payment method.

16. Behavior Clause

Participants exhibiting unacceptable behavior, including abusive language, reckless driving, or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, will have their tour terminated immediately without a refund.
